I’ve had an amazing week driving around Northern Ireland to deliver LinkedIn Training. Plus, I delivered training in Iceland and Brussels for the European Free Trade Association - that was on Zoom

Here’s the most common questions I get asked in training sessions and my answers to them.

1.Where do I get content ideas from?

2. How do I go viral?

Going viral should never be a goal. It takes days to reply to everyone and doesn’t automatically lead to more business. It’s nice for your ego 😄

3. What happens if nobody likes my post?

When you start anything, you start at the bottom and the only way is up. Also, nobody judges you as much as you judge yourself and people are busy with their own lives, rather than sitting around worrying about you.

4. How long does it take to succeed on LinkedIn?

Some people get enquiries after the first month. Other takes 3-6 months. It also depends on your definition of success. For me, success is helping people win, connecting with my tribe, encouraging others to tell their stories and raising more awareness for charities.

Generating more sales happens because I implement the above, show up consistently and invest heavily in sales coaching for myself.

5. Should I pay for LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

If you're scaling a business and having lots of staff, Sales Navigator is an advantage HOWEVER, and this is a big HOWEVER... if you can't write effective emails and don't know how to sell, Sales Navigator is a massive waste of money.
