About Me
Winner of the Northern Ireland Screen Writer’s Development Award June 2011
Shooting July and August 2011 in West London.
Bollywood Feature Film. Released 24 February 2012 www.naachlelondonmovie.com
A few screenplays were optioned in my early twenties, but I was too young to be a screenwriter, so I spent years as a kids writer for CBBC and Channel 5, learning my craft, working with different artists and understanding how the industry works.
That experience gave me the confidence to begin writing sitcoms and I wrote comedy scripts for producers like Gareth Edwards (Spaced, Dead Ringers) Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow and Vic Reeves/Bob Mortimer’s Pett Productions.
At the moment, My Sister’s Wedding, is with the BBC.
The feelgood romantic comedy, Knights in Shining Armour has won a Northern Ireland Screen development award. Please contact me if you would like to read it.
My British comedy Bollywood Thrills has been adapted into the Bollywood movie, Naachle London, which was filmed in West London July and August 2011. Bollywood Feature Film. Released 24 February 2012. www.naachlelondonmovie.com
