Heaven’s Delight
I was born in Belfast in 1972 and raised by Indian parents. After 18 years experiencing the best and worst of both cultures, I moved to England to pursue my acting career. While attending drama school, I realised I couldn't act to save my life - plus, there was a scary resemblance to Jabba The Hut in a leotard.
After ten years of struggling to find work and projects almost getting made, my tenacity succeeded when I was hired to write for popular children's shows like The Story Makers and Hana's Helpline. Writing for various parenting magazines after the birth of my daughter followed. My big break was co-writing the Anglia TV drama, Stanley and Me.
